Free Payment Voucher Template
A payment voucher is a small document that records outbound payments and also helps in maintaining the accounts history for your business. Although it is a custom document but still it can be used as a payment proof if properly signed and stamped. Usually accounting books such as ledger can refer to payment vouchers using their unique voucher number. Also, a copy of payment voucher is usually kept before handing it over to the payee. It is probably the most used accounting document in many businesses so I am sharing a payment voucher template using which you can print your own payment vouchers and then use them for your business.
How to Use this Voucher Template?
This voucher template is 8 x 6.75 Inches so it can be printed on an 8.5 x 11 inches Letter size A4 page. However, if you have 8 x 14 inches Legal page then you can barely fit two payment vouchers on one page to save paper. This template is designed in MS Word which is one of the most used software in the world so I am sure you already have it in your PC. Just replace the company information on the top right side and you are good to use this payment voucher. Most of the requirements related to a business payment are already covered in this template so you probably wont need to make any other changes though you can fine tune text headings if you want to.

You can download this template from above link and then use the Print to PDF feature found in MS Word which will convert this voucher into PDF format for you.
This voucher template has a payment method area in which you can tick either Check or Cash as the medium of transaction. You can use it for both check and cash transactions. If you are using it for a cash transaction then you can leave the Check # and Bank fields empty or write N/A in those fields.
